Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

“Does anyone fancy cycling to Amsterdam?”

That was how we pitched the idea to a few colleagues who had mentioned that they were hoping to go to the ESHRE annual meeting being held in Amsterdam 7-10 July 2024.

Most smiled and told us to get on our bikes. However, three of us decided to take on the challenge. Alas, due to unforeseen circumstances, my two buddies have since had to pull out....which leaves me on a solo quest!

I'll be setting off from Leicester on 3rd July. I plan to cycle around 70miles a day till I reach Harwich on Friday. I’ll take the overnight ferry across to the Hook of Holland, and then it’s a gentle ride up the west coast to Amsterdam (55 miles).

I'm raising funds for the Klinefelter’s Syndrome Association, a charity that supports people affected by KS/XXY.

And I'm grateful for any support on this eco-friendly challenge of cycling from the UK to Holland.
