Due to the recent expansion of The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre, our garden is in need of complete rejuvenation as currently it is a partial building site. We are fortunate enough to have a garden area which is extremely rare in a hospital’s grounds. This space, prior to the building works, was well loved and used by our patients, their families and staff. With an ever increasing demand on our services, being able to have a multifunctional outdoor space will allow us to continue to support as many patients that we can.

Our new plans for the rejuvenation of our Wellbeing garden will include installing a new decking area providing a multifunctional space, creating small areas for patients to sit with their families. We will also be updating the access to the garden to be wheelchair friendly which it currently isn’t.
