Story

I am participating in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 as part of #TeamDementiaUK. This cause is very close to my heart because my Granny suffered from dementia towards the end of her life. It was a difficult time for my family, and it made us realise just how terrible this disease can be.

I am running this marathon in honor of my Granny and all the families who are dealing with dementia. Dementia UK is an incredible charity that provides specialist dementia nurses called Admiral Nurses. These nurses offer life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.

Admiral Nurses help people with dementia stay independent for longer and provide support to their caregivers, giving them the strength to cope with the challenging days and the energy to enjoy the good ones. They listen attentively and have the knowledge to solve problems, empowering families to regain control when they are struggling.

By supporting me in this marathon, you will be making a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. Together, we can help Dementia UK continue their vital work and bring hope to families in need.

Join me on April 7th, 2024, as I run for #TeamDementiaUK at the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024!

Let's make a positive impact together!
