Story

I'm taking part in fundraising for Hope Against Cancer's 20th birthday and to celebrate my 40th, will be doing the 10km as part of the Run Leicester festival, on 1st October.

The work that Hope Against Cancer fund is incredible and they are based right here in Leicestershire. So please support me on my run and lets raise loads of money for them!

We have funded over 100 research projects tackling many forms of cancer. In 2012 we opened a dedicated clinical trials centre at Leicester Royal Infirmary to offer patients access to new medicines and therapies. We also fund two nurses who add to the care and support trials patients receive.
