Story
On the 5th of May 2012, Jenny Rayner and her family tragically experienced the devastating impact of mental illness when their daughter Lucy took her own life at the age of 22. This life-changing event inspired Jenny and her family to campaign for awareness of the mental health challenges faced by many young adults. They quickly discovered that the available support and treatment for young adults with mental health challenges were woefully inadequate and significantly underfunded.
The Lucy Rayner Foundation offers a range of services to support mental health, providing counselling to all young adults aged between 14 and 39. We are incredibly proud to say that we have no waiting list and offer additional support groups in Surrey.
