A major event in the UK's running calendar, the Sheffield Half Marathon attracts thousands of runners of all abilities and spectators to the city's streets each year and raises many thousands of pounds for good causes.
Story
I am running the Sheffield half marathon to raise money for St Luke’s hospice. This is in memory of my wonderful auntie Pam. My goal last year was to survive, this year my aim is to set a new personal best time.
St Luke’s is a hospice and hopefully you and your loved ones will never encounter St Luke’s. However, if you or loved ever needs care and support due to a diagnosis of cancer. St Luke’s is the place to be. St Luke’s embraces your loved one and you. Support you in ways you never knew you needed.
My Aunty Pam was taken way too early. St Luke’s gave her dignity and care. That is why Pam’s family will always support St Luke’s

St Luke’s is an independent charity caring for terminally ill adults and their loved ones across Sheffield.
Each year, we care for around 1,900 patients most of whom are cared for in their own home by our Specialist Palliative Care Community team.
