Story
Potentially the biggest challenge of my life. Ella and I will be running, jogging, hobbling, walking and crawling a 100km ultra marathon for refugee action. People who are vulnerable and migrating are often faced with no choice but to travel insane distances on foot without adequate shoes, food, water and medical supplies. This will be nothing compared to the challenges many people face.
Refugees are normal people whose lives are plagued by trauma. They escape places for safety and a chance at life but are often greeted with resentment. I believe that refugees deserve better, and so I'm fundraising for Refugee Action. They've been standing up for refugees since 1981, and their vision is that refugees and people seeking asylum will be welcome in the UK.
They deliver frontline services for refugees, and campaign for their rights. Please donate if you can, and help fight for a fairer future for refugees and people seeking safety.
