Story
We believe mental health is one of the key pillars of wellness and unfortunately, it still remains largely underfunded and under-resourced.
We jumped at the opportunity to participate in this event for a couple of reasons. First, every family, at one time or another, is challenged with mental health issues. Second, we trust big moose and know any funds raised are spent well. Last, we have watched Craig and Aimee of for years. They are the people who have organised this event with big moose. They have a YouTube show called Kingin’ It, which has made us laugh out loud and inspired us to abandon the 9 to 5 for a motorhome in Europe. 😊
While their channel is really entertaining, it’s their humanity and kindness that has us watching week after week. We thought participating i. The bike ride and helping to raise money for a great cause would be the best way to support them.
If you’ve got a spare few $ and feel this is a worthy cause, we’d be super grateful. We’ve donated £1000 and hope to match that through fundraising. You can read more about big moose below. Thanks so much!
Love,
Beth and Dallas
Big moose:
we were we are bigmoose. we are a mental health charity providing therapy and early intervention to people who are struggling with their mental health.
we have grown from a small facebook page of our friends and family to a community of thousands of people all over the world. together we have achieved some amazing things, most recently completing project 1 million, raising 1 million pounds in 486 days! over 11,000 people donated and have helped us to save and change lives.
we are hearing on a daily basis how much our therapy is helping to change lives. the number of referrals we are receiving is increasing every day.
but there is more work to be done.
we have a big dream to make a difference in the world. we are on a mission to raise 15 million pounds for mental health, this is going to be a mammoth task, and we are going to need all the help we can get, but our passion to change lives is what drives us, and makes us believe we can do this.
