Fundraising for Gold Standard Charitable Trust
We’re Beth and Freya, two teachers who are passionate about making a difference in our school community. This April, we’re taking on a half marathon to raise money for our school charity, the Gold Standard Charitable Trust, funding bursaries for children who need them most. We’re honoured to represent Wetherby Notting Hill and run alongside a team from all across the Inspired UK schools.
Every step we take is for the kids we teach and care so much about.
The Trust does not have an endowment, so they work closely with School Heads and the broader community and rely on fundraising events and appeals - such as this Half Marathon campaign - to raise the necessary funds each year.
Every penny raised will go directly to support a child receiving a bursary.
As keen runners, this challenge means a lot to us - Beth completed the London Marathon in 2019, and Freya has been smashing half marathons recently. We are looking forward to working together and with the school community to try and raise as much money as possible for a fantastic cause and give opportunities to more children.
Thank you!
