My mum was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Tumour in June 2022, and since then I have taken on many chaity events raising money for Brain Tumour Research. It has now affected her speech and balance and has taken over her life. The treatment for Brain Tumours has not changed in 50 years due to the lack of funding that cancer research give towards Brain Tumours.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
