Hi.  I am running the Herts 10k for Rennie Grove with my friend, Freddie Latham. I met Freddie when he was a co-farmer at Rural Care in Aldenham.  We have had some good times together and he gave a speech using his tablet at my wedding, we also danced on the table together! He keeps wanting me to do a marathon with him but having not run for 10years I have always managed to think of a good excuse, the 10k seems like a good compromise!  This is my first Herts 10k, but Freddie has done it every year since 2017. Unfortunately Freddie's mum has had her cancer return and Rennie Grove have been helping her. Freddie says “They do such amazing things like looking after my mum and lots of other people.  I am really  pleased  to be running with Bernice to help raise some funds for them.  I need someone to run with me as my guide runner in next year's London Marathon so I might still be able to persuade her.  She has to be faster than my dad, grumpy Nick, who used to run with me.  But that's not difficult!”
