Our fabulous volunteers are doing a January Reset to raise money for Tamworth Samaritans: Dry January, Veganuary or an emotional well-being reset of their choice.

Story

I'm a newly recruited member of Tamworth Samaritans - trying to do my bit in this beautiful world!

My buddies are doing Dry January / Veganuary for Tamworth Samaritans. I'm not ... I'm doing 'draw' January instead as a means to reset and reclaim my 'chill time' each day with a mindful activity.

So far, I've managed 14 sessions in 14 days - my current drawing is a rose but I hope to start another piece before the 31st January.

We are an independent charity, run entirely by volunteers. (We are affiliated to the national Samaritans charity but receive no funds from them).

It costs c. £35,000/year to run our branch.

If you can afford to donate:

£1 shows your support to our local branch

£5 helps us help one person in their hour of need

£25 covers the cost of a two-volunteer, three-hour shift

But please donate any amount you feel comfortable with.
