Story

Restoring, reviving and renewing the bells of Holy Trinity Church.

Did you know that the oldest bell in Holy Trinity is from around 1350, cast by John of Stafford?

The bell frame it hangs on is thought to be from around 1430.

We need to restore and protect our local bells for the future.

In this appeal we are seeking to

1. Restore and protect our current bells and bell frame

2. Revive bell-ringing in the parish with training and regular opportunities to ring

3. Renew the custom of 'ringing out of bells' to mark life-related events or signify national celebrations and occasions.

If you would like to receive updates on how our appeal is going and what plans we have, please contacts us on bells@berkswich.org.uk
