Story

Hi, my name is Bepi and this year I've got this crazy idea in my head... to swim across the English Channel (from England to France).

https://www.shorturl.at/

I won't be doing it alone, but with other crazy people like me from all over the world. We will be swimming the relay race according to the rules of the Channel Swimming Association which requires the crossing to be done without a wetsuit, wearing only swimming trunks, goggles and a cap provided by them. The water temperature is on average below 15 degrees, so apart from the complexity of swimming in the open sea (even at night), the currents and tides, there will also be the added factor of "cold".

We have set ourselves the goal of raising funds for an international organization Mencap, which assists people with mental disabilities (https://www.mencap.org.uk/), and in fact we will be the "Mencap Marvels".

All the money raised will go to this association because we have already paid the cost of the crossing, registration, travel etc. separately, so all the money raised will go to the charity.

Very few Italians have attempted this adventure... the first was my "childhood hero", Paolo Pinto from Bari, the first Italian to swim the English Channel solo, so.... LET'S MAKE OURSELVES KNOWN AND RAISE MORE THAN THE OTHERS....
