I’m fundraising for the Firefighters Charity UK and taking part in the London Marathon 2025. The firefighters charity is an incredible organisation that supported my family during some of our toughest times.

A few years ago, my dad was seriously injured —an injury that almost took his life. The physical and emotional toll was immense, but thanks to the Firefighters Charity, he was given the care, support, and rehabilitation he needed to not only recover but get back on his feet and continue his career in the South Wales Fire and Rescue service.

The charity didn’t just help my dad; they also supported my two younger brothers, helping them through the challenges that came with seeing their father go through such an ordeal.

My family also has history raising money for the charity, my dad ran the 2009 New York Marathon to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity. Now, I want to give back and help, ensure they can continue to support the brave men and women who risk their lives to protect others.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference to this amazing cause and help other families going through similar struggles.
