Story
I am thrilled to be part of a group of dedicated student volunteers from Bayes Business School heading to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 3 August this year. We will be working directly with the amazing team Addis, teaching and leading group sessions with the young people who are supported by Hanna and her teams.
As a trustee of Helping Hanna's Community, I have been involved with this charity for over a decade, and as a trustee for the last 3-4 years. I have witnessed the incredible impact our team on the ground has made and have met many amazing City, University of London students who have raised more than £100,000.
About Helping Hanna's Community:
Helping Hanna's Community is a volunteer-led charity that supports Hanna's Orphans' Homes in Ethiopia. Our mission is to improve the lives of orphaned and disadvantaged children by providing a nurturing environment, educational opportunities, and essential resources to help them thrive. Remarkably, over 99% of all donations go straight to the ground, ensuring maximum impact.
Why We Need Your Support:
Every penny you donate will directly fund vital supplies, educational materials, and essential services for the children we support. Your contribution will help us make a tangible difference in their lives, providing hope and a brighter future.
Your generosity will enable us to:
Continue providing educational equpment, toys and games, including footballs, skipping ropes, table tennis sets, and cricket sets and much more.
As a trustee, I am passionate about our cause and am actively participating in this mission to ensure your donations are used effectively and transparently, helping the team at Hanna's Orphans' Homes in their crucial work.
