Story
Suicide Prevention Day 2023 marks 5 years and 8 months since I lost my younger brother Sam to suicide.
Experiencing suicide is absolute agony. It is devastating, traumatic and desperatley sad all at once. We must do everything we can to prevent it.
On Suicide Prevention Day I am going to walk one million steps. Alone this would take 150 hours or 6 days of non-stop walking, an immesnse challenge.
Together though, we can make that near impossible challenge manageable. Such is the power of sharing the weight of our journeys with others around us.
On the 10th of Septmber I want as many people as possible to get out and walk for suicide prevention. You can join me on my walk in London or you can go for a walk where you are.
