Story
Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to look at my JustGiving page. On Sunday the 7th of April 2024, I will be running the Brighton Marathon in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, a charity very close to my heart.
Around 2 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, a gradually worsening neurologic condition that affects his everyday life. Living with the condition has been a big adjustment for my Dad and the rest of my family and I wanted to do this to try to support people in similar situations. Treatments for the condition aren’t currently very common (some in clinical trials and other stages of testing) and can have bad side effects meaning they aren’t suitable for some people with the condition.
The money raised will be going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, an amazing organisation who work to support people affected by this condition, funding research, providing advice and support for people with the condition and also raising awareness. If you are able to support in any way, either by donating or sharing my page I would be very grateful.
