Story
Over the years, I've encountered countless friends, customers and colleagues alike - who have faced the daunting battle against cancer. It's a journey that touches us all in some way or another. That's why I've made the decision to challenge myself and participate in the Brighton Marathon 2024.
The Brighton Marathon is not just any ordinary race; it's an opportunity for me to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. By running this marathon, I aim to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that provides invaluable support and care to individuals and families impacted by this disease.
Cancer can be an overwhelming experience, both physically and emotionally. But with organisations like Macmillan Cancer Support on side, no one has to face it alone. They offer a wide range of services, from practical advice to emotional support, ensuring that no one feels isolated on their journey.
However, Macmillan Cancer Support relies on generous donations from people like you to continue their vital work. That's why I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for your support. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
I have set a fundraising target of £1,000 for this campaign. Every pound donated brings us closer to providing essential resources and assistance to those who need it most. Your contribution will not only help fund vital services but also send a powerful message of hope and solidarity to those battling cancer.
Join me on the 22nd of March in the Pub at Fiveways for an evening of fundraising and music, and more importantly on the day itself - the 7th of April, as I lace up my running shoes and take on this marathon challenge. I'll definitely need your support to get me over that finish line!
Thank you for your generosity and support.
