💙 I’m Running for HCCN 💙
On Sunday, 9th March 2025, I’ll be taking on the Cambridge Half Marathon to raise funds for Hunts Community Cancer Network (HCCN). HCCN supports adults in Huntingdonshire living with or beyond cancer, providing emotional, physical, and practical support to help them regain control and enjoy a better quality of life.
In June last year I sadly lost my mum, Alison, to cancer. She was the most beautiful, kind and wonderful person you could ever wish to meet. Throughout her battle she was supported by the wonderful people at HCCN and I will be forever grateful for everything they did for her and our family. I decided I wanted to do something to honour my mum and to try and raise some money for this fantastic charity and thought the Cambridge Half Marathon would be a great thing to do. For those that know me, you will be well aware I wasn’t exactly built for running so this will be a massive challenge!
Every step I take will help HCCN continue their vital work, but I can’t do it alone, I need your help!
Your donation will go directly toward:
Supporting local individuals and families affected by cancer.
Expanding services to reach more people in need.
Helping HCCN nurses deliver exceptional care.

Please sponsor me today and help make a difference for those in our community. You never know when you might need people like HCCN and I’m so grateful they were there when my mum needed them the most. Thank you so much for your support! 💙
