In December I'll be taking on a massive challenge - the Sea 2 Summit Offa's Dyke Marathon - and my first ever marathon! Starting on the seafront in Prestatyn, the course follows the Offa's Dyke Path and gets increasingly tougher as it snakes its way down (and over!) the Clwydian Range before finishing on the summit of Moel Gyw, just outside Ruthin.

I decided to challenge myself to do this in memory of my friend Alex, who we sadly lost back in August. Alex often found himself at LHCH due to his health issues and he could never speak more highly of the staff whenever we spoke about it, so I wanted to take this opportunity to try and raise funds for a fantastic hospital and the wonderful staff who do so much for so many, both across the North West and here in Wales.
