Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Bank of Chicago Marathon and my biggest motivation for this is my late Dad who sadly passed away in May of 2022. Those of you who knew Dad knew how passionate he was about running. He was taken far too soon but even when he was ill he still planned to run the Chicago marathon the year he passed away. That is testament to how strong and determined he was. This has given me the drive to take on this challenge myself in his honour and try to achieve what he never got the chance to do.

I have taken this opportunity to raise awareness for the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity. They do amazing work for Serving and ex serving members of our Armed forces and thoroughly deserve it. Anyone who kindly takes the time to read this please share far and wide and if you can spare anything in terms please f donations then myself and the RNRMC would be extremely grateful.

I will regularly document my journey and post updates on this page so you can all be part of my journey and do the big man proud as I know he’ll be sending strength and guidance my way.
