City Hospice is a charity I hold close to my heart. First of all, it was the charity responsible for giving my grandparents the most amazing care leading up to the end of their lives. No matter what their needs were, their nurse, Allen, was always there for them and this is something I will always be grateful for.

This half marathon - my first - is a challenge for me and a chance to give back to the charity that gave my family so much support.

A day of nursing care is £150 and my aim is raise enough money to cover at least 5 days of nursing care.

I know times are tough but if you have even the smallest amount to give it would be very much appreciated.
