Story

Me (Ben, founder of BH training) and my family are extremely familiar with HD. We have first hand experience how the disease can not only affect the individual but the entire family circle around them.

I will complete 400 miles before I’m 40 and this includes a 10mile race Cathedral to Castle Lichfield to Tamworth in April (Completed on April 7th, came 47th in the whole event of over 1000 runners) and a climb up Mt Snowdon too (completed on April 27th). My baseline goal is to raise £400…. All the 4’s… see what I did there 🥹 my 40th is…(November 3rd 2024) … I know I only look 29 👀

If I raise £800 by August 1st I will finish this challenge by completing a 30 MILER carrying 40lbs of kit. This is to replicate the final commando test I passed to earn my Green beret in 2004.

You can track my progress on Strava (follow me , Ben Holroyd) and I will provide monthly updates via BH training solutions social accounts, follow us on Facebook & Instagram.

HDA is our primary charity and are very proud to support their work in any big or small way we can, and I want to personally thank you for taking the time to at least open this link. Now donate 🫡🤣
