We support and empower parents to raise their children to flourish.

Story

My son Aaron is Chair of the Board of Trustees at Home-Start Cambridgeshire. They are funded by grants (such as from Children in Need) and local fundraising donations, so like many other charities they are struggling to keep on top of the demand.

As a Charity they help families in Cambridgeshire who have young children by supporting them through a wide range of services( such as improving home environments and helping with parents emotional and mental wellbeing)

To offer my support, I am taking on one of the hardest one-day cycle rides, the 108 mile Paris-Roubaix event (known as The Hell of the North), which includes 32 miles of French farm cobble tracks (known as Pavee). We finish at Roubaix velodrome. Photos of some of the harder sections and the velodrome are shown in the gallery

I expect it will be a very brutal ride, and expect to have punctures, accidents and the odd minor injury during the ride !

My target is to complete the ride in under 7 1/2 Hours.

This is one of two Charities I am supporting. There is a second page (Ben goes to Hell Option One) that supports Teenage Cancer Trust.
