Following the death of a beloved colleague and family member to Mesothelioma we have decided to do what we can to raise awareness of the disease and hopefully some money along the way to help the charity in their work. We have chosen to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge which is a 24 mile round trip trek with 3 peaks to ascent totalling 5200ft. To make things even more difficult we intend to wear our railway spec orange high viz clothing and ppe. (This will prove to be a bad idea....)

We hope to do this in 12 hours but just getting round it in one piece is the reality.

There were many volunteers from SGB who wanted to be involved but finding a date to suit everyone proved impossible. We finally settled on a date of the 4th May 2024 with 8 of SGB's daftest comprising of Ben Fox, Craig Miller, Aaron Davies, Matty Rhodes, Jacob Cuthbertson, Sam Forster, Sam Wilkes & Sam West.
