Story
I’m running the Oxford Half for SSNAP. SSNAP provide an incredible service, supporting parents and their sick newborn babies at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
When our son Walter was born, he spent his first couple of weeks in hospital in the High Dependency Unit. SSNAP volunteers were in the wards every day, talking to parents, providing support and advice (and packets of sweets!). For us, they were a lifeline during a very difficult time.
Please donate if you can.
Thank you
A bit more about SSNAP
When newborn babies need specialist, often lifesaving, medical care at birth it can be a traumatic and difficult time for parents and families.
We fund essential medical life-saving equipment, research, and support the amazing NHS staff on the neonatal unit with training and study days, to enable them to continue to provide the very best of care.
