Story
Recently my good friend and former team mate Danny, sadly lost his wife to a terminal illness. Kelli was taken care of magnificently in dove house in her final days and we are aware that they rely heavily on charitable funding. This is a small gesture of respect & our thoughts to Danny, Kelli and the boys and a worthy thanks to all at Dove House.
Dove House provide clinical, practical, and emotional care for people living with a life limiting illness in Hull and East Yorkshire. The patient and their loved ones are at the centre of everything that they do, they believe it is vital to help loved ones to create lasting memories together, as well as providing vital medical care. Their specialist services are provided free of charge to anyone over the age of 18 who have been told that their illness cannot be cured, such as cancer, heart disease, motor neurone disease and other illnesses. It costs £8.23 million each year to run the hospice, with just 10% of the year being Government funded. This means that, without the support of local people, organisations and businesses, they would not be able to provide the specialist and individually tailored care that is vital to so many.
Your donation is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
