Story
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
About Bella:
Bella has had long hair for as long as I can remember. She's now become a young woman and has decided she wants to change her look.
However sad I, as her mum, may be at Bella cutting her hair, I realised the bigger picture quite quickly that hair is just superficial.
I thought about my niece, Scarlett who has been extremely brave in her fight against Nephroblastoma. At only 5 years old, our little Princess lost her hair due to the treatment. She's been such a brave little girl, as are all children fighting cancer.
We are happy to say Scarlett is now cancer free, thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses.
In light of seeing Scarlett's braveness and other family members' courage, Bella and I discussed not cutting her hair and let it go to waste post-cut. Instead, to get it to a length to which she can donate it for children to have wigs made out of her donated hair.
It's a wonderful deed, so selfless and giving and I am so proud of Bella to do this and persevere longer with growing her hair (despite wanting it cut short for so long) just so she can donate it to this charity.
The Princess Trust rely on donations to make the wigs.
---Therefore we are asking---
Please, please sponsor Bella for donating her hair for such a deserving cause!!!
Bella is donating her hair. Please help us by donating some money to the charity towards the cost of making a wig for a deserving child.
For the Princess Trust.
For all children affected by Cancer.
For Scarlett.
