As someone who has a passion for helping children succeed in school and having been fortunate enough to work in a school over my gap year, I have decided to join Play Action International during summer 2024 and spend 4 weeks in Kenya.

Alongside a group, we will be transforming an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground so that children can access a childhood!

As a result of playgrounds being built, schools report that:

- 98% report an increase in attendance in school.

- 74% of children gave 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

- 83% of teachers reported improvements in children's attention and behaviour in classes.

Play Action International is a UK registered charity and international non-governmental organisation, working to enrich children's lives through play. They do this by providing vulnerable children with play facilities and play based learning programmes, enabling them to gain all the developmental benefits that play has to offer and the tools for future success.

I would be grateful for any donation that you are able to give in order to help me reach my fundraising goal.
