On 16th September Ailith and myself will be riding around the Peak District, probably on completely inappropriate bikes, getting a load of punctures, but having a lot of fun (at least I think I will be). I have persuaded Ailith to join me on a gravel epic ride as part of her Sunshine 10x Challenge:

Sunshine & Smiles is a charity that provides a support network in Leeds for children and young people who have Down syndrome and their families. To celebrate their 10th birthday they are aiming to raise £10000 through different fundraising challenges.

5 years ago our daughter, Hannah, was born with Down Syndrome. Since the week she was born we have received a lot of help and support from Sunshine & Smiles. Hannah now loves taking part in music groups, swimming, and even her speech and language therapy (even if sitting still during the session is a struggle). It is great to have activities that are more accessible for her and spaces where she can make friendships as she grows older.
