Story
I am walking 25km in the Thames Path Challenge to raise money for the amazing charity 50 Million Voices.
Through my wonderful friend, Iman, I have seen the struggles people with speech impediments go through on a daily basis and the unknown challenges they face just to be heard. I have seen her go from strength to strength and her confidence grow over the years and it’s been an absolute inspiration to watch her resilience so I am so happy to be able to raise money for a charity that can help others grow as I have watched Iman grow throughout our friendship.
50 Million Voices run a few events every year, with the main one being their global Practice Interview events. This is a programme where they pair employers with people who stutter, and give them a safe space to have a practice interview. The event is open for people all around the world to take part, and so far they’ve helped nearly 600 participants from over 30 countries and 5 continents to improve their interview skills, confidence and success. Demand for more events is high, and we're trying to raise money to deliver them later this year and next.
Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you so much in advance (and wish me luck) 🩷🩷🩷
