Story
Afton and I have decided to raise money for Kemp hospice. We are taking part in a 14.5 mile canoe ride on the Severn from Bridgenorth to Bewdley!!
The last time we took part in a water activity together we had to abandon our kayaks and swim to safety out of a cave in Portugal. Hopefully this time will be more relaxing!!
Why are we raising money for KEMP: They offer care and support to all patients, families and carers who are experiencing life-limiting illness and bereavement in the your community when they need it most.
For over 50 years, KEMP has been a pillar of support for individuals facing progressive life-limiting illnesses in the Wyre Forest and surrounding areas. KEMP offers free end-of-life care to adults with terminal diagnoses, extending their support to patients families and caregivers, whether in their day hospice, patients homes, or virtually. KEMP’s commitment also encompasses bereavement care for both adults and children, irrespective of their connection to the hospice. KEMP never charge for their services, but sustaining this mission requires nearly £1.7 million annually, with only 15% covered by the NHS. Your support is essential in ensuring KEMP can continue providing crucial care to those in their most challenging times.
Anything you can donate big or small will make a massive difference.
Thank you, Becci and Afton xx
