Story
As some of you may already know, in 2013, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Thyroid cancer. As of today, I am still fighting & continuing to raise awareness.
I cannot express how grateful I am for this incredible charity, a safe haven, that saw many tears, giggles & gave me comfort in my time of need during surgeries & treatment. Without their support, I wouldn’t be here today.
I couldn’t think of a better way to reach a 10 year milestone, than to run 100 miles & give back, to celebrate how lucky I am to have been given a second chance.
So with that said… 🥁
I have pledged… to run an incredible 100 miles during the month of May, (I know, I must be mad, yes - you did read right, I wish it was 10), in honour of the Teenage Cancer Trust. If you feel you are able to spare a few pennies or pounds, even the odd 50p; please donate what you can!
No matter how big or small - Little things, turn into big things & all can make a huge difference to someone, somewhere. 🦋
Updates to come during the duration of the event.
