Story
During the Easter holidays, I will be taking on a challenge for Mary’s Meals. I have signed up to take part in the Shakespeare half marathon around Stratford-upon-Avon, and I hope to raise lots of money ‘Mary’s Meals’, a charity I have discovered since joining the Beachborough community.
Mary's Meals is a global movement that makes an incredibly positive impact on the lives of those who need it most. Their work targets school-age children in some of the poorest parts of the world with an aim to provide a daily meal in their place of learning. The charity gives children in poverty hope for a better future.
It costs just £19.15 to provide a child with a meal for a whole year, meaning any money you can spare to donate has a truly enormous effect.
Any money raised will go towards Beachborough’s sponsored school, Thola Primary in Malawi where it will help fund one mug of vitamin enriched porridge for 798 pupils.
Thank you for your support.
