Every child, every community needs a 'Buckenham Wood' or, in the words of Norfolk naturalist Ted Ellis: "a breathing space for the cure of souls."

Our local community has formed a charity to purchase part of Buckenham Woods, ,an ancient woodland and county wildlife site in rural Norfolk (UK), and to become its caretakers.

Having raised over £70,000 from grants and crowdfunding to purchase and maintain this land, we now need to invest in access, interpretation and wildlife surveys to inform and implement a management plan to protect and enhance the woodland and its enjoyment by the community and visiting public.
