Story

Hello, I'm Rob, the heart and soul behind Battle Fit. Today, I'm reaching out not just as a business owner, but as a friend who has experienced profound loss. I am dedicating an event to the memory of Guy, a dear friend and an inspiring spirit, who was tragically taken from us by a brain tumour at the tender age of 43, a mere eight months after his diagnosis.

The shock and sorrow of losing Guy so suddenly have left an indelible void in all our lives. He was not just a friend; he was a beacon of strength, joy, and resilience for all who knew him. It's a stark reminder of how precious life is and how cruelly diseases like brain tumours can cut that preciousness short.

In honour of Guy's memory, and to turn our grief into action, I've initiated a fundraising campaign aimed at supporting The Brain Tumour Charity. Our goal is not only to commemorate Guy's life but also to contribute to the fight against brain tumours, fostering hope and funding vital research that can one day put an end to this devastating disease.

We're rallying our community and beyond to join us in this cause as we embark on a 300-mile journey that scales the rugged beauty of the southwest coastal path of Cornwall.

I invite you to help us make a difference. Your donation can help save lives and support those affected by brain tumours. Together, we can fund the research that will lead to breakthroughs and, hopefully, cures.

Please join us by making a donation here and by spreading the word. You can also support us by participating in our event or cheering us on. For more details, visit the Battle Fit website; www.battlefit.uk and follow our journey on social media.
