Story
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer around 10 years ago and we are very grateful for the support and treatment he has received from the NHS which has given us all 10 years that we may not have had. So I’ve decided to get my backside off the settee for the whole month of October and try to raise some money for Prostate Cancer research. I’m hoping to raise £500 (this was the plan but with everyone’s generosity, so far I’ve upped it to £2000)and I’m going to cycle 500 miles, which is just over 16 miles a day.
Prostate cancer will now affect 1-10 males so lads if your reading this and over the age of 40 then don’t be shy and go and get tested !
I’m taking on Prostate United for Prostate Cancer UK and walking, running & cycling every day this October. Alongside thousands of my fellow fans, we’re uniting against the most common cancer in men.
Sponsor me to help fund lifesaving research for men and their families affected by this disease. Thank you.
