Billy, Michael, Rob, Dom, Ruth, Grace & Barrie are Running for Rob – and for Everyone Battling MND

We are taking on the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon & Half Marathon in honor of a true legend, our friend Rob Burrow.

Rob wasn’t just one of the greatest rugby league players of all time—he was a man of incredible courage, kindness, and determination. Watching him face Motor Neurone Disease (MND) with such strength has inspired us to push ourselves and take on this challenge.

This year’s marathon is especially significant as it’s the first since Rob passed. It will be a day of reflection, celebration, and determination to continue his fight.

Why We’re Running

We’re running to support the Rob Burrow Centre for MND, a place that will provide crucial care, support, and resources to those living with MND and their families. This disease is relentless, but so is our commitment to making a difference.
