Fundraising for Disasters Emergency Committee

Millions of people across Gaza, Lebanon and the wider region are in urgent need of food, shelter and medical care. Please help now. The UK Government will match pound-for-pound up to £10 million donated by the public to this appeal.

Story

In a potentially Rivals-inspired Movember mash-up, I am growing a moustache all November long to:

a) raise money for the DEC's Middle East Humanitarian Appeal

b) raise awareness of men's mental health and what we can do about it

c) maybe get some guys to check their balls

I don't need to tell you about what's been happening in the Middle East - millions of people across Gaza, Lebanon and the wider region are in urgent need of food, shelter and medical care.

The DEC brings together 15 leading UK aid charities in times of crisis. I worked there until a few months ago and I've seen first-hand the difference that donations make to people affected so please give what you can - all the money raised will go to the DEC appeal.

In return I will post pictoral updates of the tache and carry it with me wherever I go.
