Vision Norfolk 220th Anniversary Challenge

Walking 220 miles in April · 1 April 2025
This year, Vision Norfolk is celebrating an incredible milestone—220 years of supporting people with sight loss across the county. As part of the celebration, I’ve set myself a challenge: to walk 220 miles in April (that’s almost 7.5 miles per day!) with my trusty companion and retired guide dog, Cherry.
I’ll be doing this while working full-time, so it won’t be easy—but every step will be worth it to raise funds for this amazing charity. Vision Norfolk provides life-changing support to blind and vision-impaired people, helping them stay independent and connected to their communities.
This cause is especially close to my heart because my 17-year-old son is registered severely sight impaired. I see first-hand the challenges that people with sight loss face every day, and I know just how important it is to have the right support in place. Vision Norfolk makes a real difference to families like mine, and I want to do my part to give back.
My goal is to raise £220—just £1 for every year of Vision Norfolk’s history. Every donation, big or small, will help provide vital services for those living with sight loss.
If you’d like to support me (and Cherry!) on this journey, please consider donating. Your generosity means the world.
