As some of you may or may not know, I had my first Mammogram in December after turning the ripe old age of 50, in January i was called back to Derriford for further tests, on the day i was greeted by amazing kind staff who made me feel at ease, during a ultrasound they decided that a biopsy was needed to get further information, this was done straight away and during the whole process I was spoken to and looked after in the most amazing manner, as you can understand I was feeling very low, unsure, and vulnerable but I really can not fault the treatment I was given and the kindness empathy and support I received, I sadly suffered an allergic reaction to the local anaesthetic but once again a quick phone call to the unit and I was advised to go to A & E where after two hours and Antihistamines I was allowed home. The next day the consultant rang me to check up on me and reassure me. Thankfully ten days later the results came back as so far all good, but they have decided I need another biopsy doing to determine if any further treatment is required. As you can imagine this has been a worrying time for myself and family but without the support from these people things could have been a lot more stressful.

So for this years Banger Rally Challenge we would like you to support us in raising money for this amazing foundation. We will once again be dressed as bees and will be decorating the car in Primroses and Bees and will add names to them so that you can come on the journey with us.
