Early January 7th, the Santa Ana winds sparked wildfires throughout many areas of LA County. Most devastating have been the Palisades and the Eaton Fires, destroying thousands of acres of land in the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica, Altadena, and Pasadena. Over 130,000 people have had to evacuate, with Mayor Karen Bass & Governor Gavin Newsom declaring a state of emergency. Tens of thousands of homes are at risk, with countless already having been completely destroyed. Our GEM team is presently on the ground in Los Angeles County assisting those affected. We currently have truckloads of supplies en route to Southern California from our Chico warehouse, and in collaboration with BStrong, we are distributing cash cards to evacuated residents.

This disaster has completely destroyed communities, and our teams will be working diligently to deliver hope and support.
