Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

Hi I’m Bailey age 13 from Blackpool. I’ve always had a love of everything Halloween from a very young age, I decorate our house both inside and out, which gives much joy to children and adults alike who visit each year to see, I never go trick or treating myself, as I enjoy seeing the hundreds of people smile at my display. On Halloween night each child receives a balloon, some Halloween sweets and a little party bag surprise. I’m very busy at the door, last year we had over 300 visitors! This year I’m putting together 400 party bags.

Four years ago I decided because we get so many people on Halloween why not raise money for Charity, I then decided I would like to help poorly children so chose Brian House Children’s Hospice. Over the past 4 Halloween’s I’ve raised almost two thousand pounds! I visit the hospice to drop the donations off which I collect in charity buckets, and seeing how happy the children are makes it all worth the time and effort.

I was a finalist last year in Young Citizen of the Year Award and was awarded a certificate by Lancashire Police and the High Commissioner at a prestigious award ceremony. This year I’ve been contacted by a film producer who is coming to film me for a documentary which will be shown on tv just before Halloween.

Each year people who can’t make it on Halloween or don’t live in Blackpool have asked if I have a just giving page, so my mum has set this up for me. I’m hoping this page will help me raise even more, my target this year is almost £700 to make £2500 over the 5 years, every single penny goes to Brian House and without donations it wouldn’t be able to be open.

I really hope to see you all in your costumes on Thursday 31st October at 103 Vicarage Lane Blackpool FY4 4EN. I have a new surprise for you all!!

Thank you for reading and a huge thank you if you can make a donation, no matter how small.
