We decided that despite being mainly an unfit bunch we wanted to climb Snowdon. We have a mix of experience but mainly most of us have never done anything like this.

Period Power is a charity very close to our hearts. They provide free period products to many different charities and individuals throughout Staffordshire, West Midlands and Cheshire.

Due to period poverty, but also because of issues like the ongoing stigma around periods, a recent survey has revealed that missing school, work, avoiding exercise or socialising are all too common for those who menstruate.

Nobody should ever feel shame or stigma about their period, or have to use makeshift methods to manage.

If we hit our target we will be able to donate enough money for Period Power to provide over 7000 sanitary pads.

We are asking if everyone we know could donate just £3 - we don’t want lots of your hard earned money as every person can add value for a small amount.
