Azets's fundraiser for Cora

Cora Mccarthy · 28 April 2023 to 5 June 2023 ·
We are raising funds for Cora, a child diagnosed with moderate-severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy due to a birth injury. Early intervention is crucial for her development. Cora suffered hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) at birth, leading to brain damage and her current diagnosis.
Our primary goal is to help fund intensive physiotherapy sessions at a specialist center. Cora currently lacks basic mobility skills like sitting, crawling, or walking. These sessions, costing £1-4k in the UK, aim to enhance her physical abilities and foster independence.
Funds will also be allocated to specialized equipment like Eyegaze, enabling non-verbal individuals like Cora to communicate via eye movements. This technology will empower her to express her preferences, from choosing TV shows to toys and meals.
Your support can provide Cora with the necessary therapy and equipment to improve her quality of life. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant impact. Help Cora overcome the challenges of cerebral palsy and lead a happy, fulfilling life.
7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs. If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects. If in those circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
