Story

Hi Everyone

This December, my colleague Andrea Parr and I, both proud members of the MacIntyre Charity, are taking on the MK Food Parcel Challenge from 9th to 12th December! We’ll be living on a minimal food supply for four days to raise funds for the MK Food Bank—a cause that’s close to our hearts and vital to our community.

As big foodies, Andrea and I love trying new cuisines, indulging in snacks, and exploring all things delicious, so this challenge will definitely push us out of our comfort zones! It’s a humbling experience that highlights the daily struggles faced by those in need, especially during winter.

For me personally, as a Muslim, this season is a quieter time since we don’t celebrate Christmas in the same way. Instead, I see it as an opportunity to give back, and teaming up with Andrea makes this even more special.

We’ll be sharing our journey on socials to raise awareness and encourage support for this important cause. Together, let’s make a difference for families in need this winter.

Thank you!
