Story

I am participating in RBLI's D-Day 80 Challenge. My aim will be to take on 80km over the month of June, symbolising the length of all five beaches where the Allied forces made their historic invasion.

I aim to run, walk and jog across the month in various events and activities, including the Royal Sutton Fun Run, a 13.5k run for which I am woefully under-prepared!

With the money raised by myself and others taking part in this challenge, Royal British Legion Industries can provide lifelong care and support veterans from every service and conflict, their families, and those with disabilities.

A few pounds can quickly mount up and help fund things like PTSD treatment for a person in need, a day out for an elderly veteran, a helpline for vulnerable people, a safe roof overhead, access to work and support getting back to civvie street.

I appreciate times are hard for many, so if you are able to spare anything and contribute to what I hope you agree is a good cause, I would be hugely grateful. If you can't contribute financially, well-wishes, advice and general support would also be gratefully received (and needed!).
