Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This particular fundraiser is for Salam charity that is raising money for the devastating conflict that has happened within Palestine. Without a shadow of a doubt I have a strong belief that this cause is close to many hearts & I have come to the realisation of the situation and feel a sense of guilt due to not being vocal or active in bringing the issue to light. This fundraiser is something in my grasp and something I am capable of doing. I am sure that there are numerous people who feel the same as I do so I urge you to help me in this noble cause.

It does not take up much time & all you need to do is donate whatever you can. The amount you give is not of importance, however, your help in spreading awareness of the conflict and the damage it has caused to numerous lives is far more important.

I feel that by taking part in this fundraiser I am able to get other people to take an interest into the conflict which may get heads turning & maybe even get other people to do something similar. So I am making a heartfelt appeal to everyone that sees this and especially to all my friends, let's make a difference, no matter how small or big of a donation you make the aim is to awaken yohr minds to explore and find out about what is happening in Palestine.

Salam Charity was founded in 2011 with the aim to help fight poverty and transform lives. Every night over 800 million people go hungry and nearly 6 million children die each year from preventable diseases. Salam Charity aims to tackle this by providing lifesaving meals, clean water, sanitation, clothing and education. This will allow everyone to realise their birthright of living a happy life by developing their full potential. Salam Charity works in many countries around the world with a particular emphasis on the Rohingya emergency crisis. Salam Charity has a five year strategic plan which will focus on bringing a positive and lasting change in the lives of those affected by poverty. Our aim is to empower people for them to be in charge of their own destinies. We endeavour to support households, local communities and national institutions to develop longer term collective approaches to reinforce their capacities to better respond to, mitigate and prevent humanitarian emergencies and hunger crises. Supported by global celebrities, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and social media influencers, We have one important mission: to save and change lives for the better. We will do what it takes to bring humanity closer to a world free from hunger and poverty.
