Story
Raising money for sarcoidosis UK is part of my own journey living with sarcoidosis.
I was diagnosed in 2015 with pulmonary sarcoidosis, I could barely have a conversation without coughing every second word. I could not run and play with my children without feeling like I couldn't breath. Now it's a little bit of a different story with my health but not without struggle.
The struggle wasn't just living with the disease but living with having doctors Google your condition in front of you and feeling like you don't have the support you need. Well that's where sarcoidosis UK steps in and the money raised helps to continue gifting GPs with helpful information and directly supporting people with the disease.
During my time with the disease I've had pulmonary, skin and currently issues with my eyes. My lungs ATM are better so I've started to improve my health by running, eating healthy and changing my relationship with alcohol. So to give back to this amazing charity I've decided to run my first marathon and raise awareness and money to help improve people's lives.
All I ask is you help by either donating or sharing my story.

A little something about the disease and the charity:
Sarcoidosis is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. We work to change that. Our 4 goals are; providing information, providing support, raising awareness and funding research.
None of our work is possible without donations. We are reliant on your generosity and as a small charity, any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference to our ability to help others. Thank you!
